We were introduced to the the ++ operator and a few other things.

Well done to Fifth Class who have begun learning touch typing. Thanks to members of the I.C.T. Committee who recorded some of this work.
We are applying for our third Green Schools flag, the water flag.
Here are a few things we have done and what we are going to do for it:
We had a day called 'Water Wednesday' where all of the children wore blue clothes,
In correspondence with Active Schools week, the children had a 'Walk for Water' in which they walked all around
Well done to all the students who took part in Science Week and 'Water Wednesday'!

Pupils from Durrow National School finished 2nd and 3rd in a Lego competition hosted by Tullamore Library, Emma, Faith and Isobel won 2nd prize with their football pitch creation. Trasa won 3rd prize with her Mario World Creation. We are always promotion STEM activities in Durrow and very proud our students did so well. Well done girls!!
