We in Durrow N.S. are very much in favour of encouraging the pupil voice, opinions and leadership skills to be a major factor in developing our schools ethos and culture. The power of the pupils' input is hugely important for our schools development.
We take great pride in working with our student committees to enhance our schools development. The pupils in our school play a leading role and we always praise and welcome their leadership skills.
The student committees represent all the pupils in our school and they work closely with the coordinating teachers who volunteer to lead the committees with the pupils. Meetings to plan for various events, occasions, developments, upgrade of equipment/furniture and creating fun activities for all the community to enjoy are conducted regularly.
We are very proud of past and present student committees and we look forward to the year ahead.
